There are so many options on places to eat once you get to Nashville…from stunning steakhouses to infamous hot chicken…it’s sometimes difficult to figure out where to start. Thankfully, Nashville’s Food Scene keeps getting better and better. Here are a few (old and new) go-to’s….make sure to call ahead for reservations if you can!
-
Sixty Vines: Sixty Vines has wines on tap…I repeat wine on tap. Combine wine with shareables and the location at 5th and Broadway and you are in for a fantastic start of your night.
-
Adele’s: Rule #1: Order the Meatballs. It’s an appetizer…but it can be a meal. The drinks are amazing… a beautiful feel inside and outside (seating).
-
Virgao: Hands down the best sushi in town + a cool kid feels Virago will not disappoint.
-
Chauhan: Ale and Marsala House: I can’t even begin…..I never thought I would like/love Indian food…until I ate here and died. Look up this restaurant and the story behind the chef here in Nashville…and then immediately book a table on Open Table. ORDER THE MUSSELS.
-
The Chef and I on Ninth: You’ll eat until you have to rolllllll out of the restaurant. Try to book in advance and ask to sit at the Chef’s Counter…it’s not the same experience as it is to sit somewhere else in the restaurant.
-
Bourbon Steak: This Michael Mina restaurant is extravagant starting from the elevator ride from the lobby to the very top floor of the JW Marriott Hotel with 180 views of Nashville’s Downtown Skyline…amazeballs. Don’t pass up the french fries as an appetizer…the dining experience alone transports you out of Nashville to the feel of a shiny sleek city like New York. Ladies, make sure you go to the girls’ room…it’s the perfect spot for a selfie…
-
Barcelona Wine Bar: if you are looking for a local experience that is delicious from start to finish, this is your place… At night, the ambiance glows from the inside out. Everything is tapas style, so it’s perfect for intimate groups who want to try a little bit of everything on the menu.
-
Blanco: This new Mexican restaurant located at 5th and Broadway is light fresh and delicious. Their website does not do the food enough justice, but I would put it on your list as a great back-up option to Bar Taco.
