Recently I had the pleasure of being in the newest volume of The Scout Guide Nashville. This was a milestone of sorts as you won’t find very many photos of me!
This photo is more than just a photo. It is something that has a hidden meaning with every object in it:
-The small stack of books underneath my hand represents the Nashville Women who are Braintrust members. Seeing that they can write and publish books, inspires me to continue to write and one day publish a book too.
-The flowers: I made the arrangement for this shoot because making arrangements is my “happy space”…maybe in my retirement years I’ll be a florist.
-The charcuterie board and the stack of cotton candy balls represent the partnerships (and friendships) I have with Nashville Women Entrepreneurs. I refer local businesses to my guests to create a high-quality, memorable experience while in Music City.
And then there is me and the space in which this photo was shot. This gave me the opportunity to “show” how I design our vacation homes and it also ties into the tagline: Vacation rentals should feel more like home. When you stay at one of our properties, you’ll feel the comfort of home..as if you are my personal guest.
Hosting is my “love language”. Taking care of people is good for my soul. Giving back is part of my purpose.
